I'm so sorry to hear of Mr. Nye's death. He was a nice man and always had such a sweet smile. I remember going to his wedding as a child.

May God bless the soul of Bill Nye. Onward Christian soldier, may you rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Bill. He is surely enjoying sainthood on the right hand of his Father. Both he and his lovely wife have been two of the most saintly people the Bourne family had the pleasure of knowing as members and guests attending Dublin Presbyterian church throughout the years.

I send my sincere sympathy upon Bill's passing. I was with him in the first group of veterans to enroll in the Ind. Arts Ed. curriculum in 1946. Elizabeth's brother, Charles was in that group. In each class that we took, we were the first group we were taught by professors who were teaching at a college for the first time. Bill was a quiet, hard working classmate who always wanted his projects to be the best. I did not know that he spent his career at the Plant. I spent mine in the education field. I married Virginia Fanning of Radford in 1952 and we have been married for 62 years and live in Winston Salem. We may have met you at one of the Homecomings. Please extend my sympathy to Charles.
