Owners Todd Bruce and Wayne Ondich are excited about entering the new millennium with their growing business. Much like the Seagle family has done before them, both Wayne and Todd have dedicated their lives to assisting families during their most difficult times. Both Wayne and Todd are graduates of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and are licensed professionals.
Wayne became the first non-family owner in 1973 with the purchase of Roswell Seagle's half of the business. He then became the sole proprietor in December 1982, after purchasing the second half of the business from his partner DuVal Seagle, bringing with him many years of knowledge and experience. Currently Wayne provides families with over 43 years of dedication and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Virginia Funeral Directors Assoc., a member of the Christ Episcopal Church and a member of the Pulaski Rotary Club. Wayne lives in Draper, Va. with his wife Nancy Riggs Ondich.
Todd Bruce, a local native, began his journey as a partner with Seagles on June 1, 1998, bringing with him at the time over 14 years of experience to the community. Todd lives in Pulaski with his wife Tracie Mitchell Bruce and their son Michael. He is a member of the Dublin United Methodist Church, a member of the Dublin Lions Club, a member of the Pulaski and Radford City Masonic Lodges and a member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Pulaski Alliance.
A good friend is someone you can count on, honest and reliable. We're proud to have our friend Wallace Bruce as an assistant with our firm. Wallace comes to us after retiring as Principal of Dublin Elementary School. We are proud to have Wallace as a member of our team.
Ceremonial events can be note-worthy occasions when Becky Melton is present. Becky has joyfully provided her services and her special "Note" as organist here at SEAGLES for many years. We salute Becky, and thank her for her elegant charm and her willingness to see things through.
We are proud to have on board a former Principal of Pulaski County High School. Since his retirement, Carl has been a part-time employee of SEAGLES. We are proud to have Carl as a member of our team.
Graham Wickline, a native of Radford, is a retired Radford City Firefighter. He brings to us great knowledge from his rescue training to his abilities to communicate well with our citizens. Graham has been active in assisting another funeral director before his retirement. We are proud to have Graham as a member of our team.
Seagle Funeral Home has served the entire Southwest Virginia, more particularly Pulaski County, and conducted business with its establishment in three centuries beginning with its establishment in 1880.
