Rebecca Lynn (Adams) Hatmaker

Rebecca Adams Hatmaker (Becky), 58 of Pulaski VA, passed away peacefully Thursday June 15, 2023 at Pulaski Health and Rehabilition Center surrounded by family. Becky was born on December 29, 1964 to Pierce Edwin Adams and Ethel Ratcliffe Adams who preceded her in death. She was the youngest of 10 children. She worked most of her life at Renfro in Pulaski and Mount Airy NC. Then as an in-home CNA until her own health issues took over.  She had many names such as Mom, Granny, Memaw, Beck and Aunt Beck. She enjoyed being around her family and friends. There are many. Her favorite hobbies were reading crime novels, playing bingo, and solitaire. She was also a  member of Mountain Brook Holiness Church in Pulaski. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in by sisters Charlotte Adams, Phylis Adams, Linda (Penny) Adams, Wanda (Faye) Ferguson. Brothers Kenneth Adams and Roger Adams. 

She leaves behind her children Justin (Tasha) Hatmaker, Joshua (Cara) McGrady, Andrew (Josey) Hatmaker. Grandchildren  Austin, Devin, Derick, Summer Gail, Morgan Hatmaker. Hunter Blankenship. Lexie and Kamron McGrady. Bayleigh, Natalie, Shaun, Olivia, Pierce Hatmaker. One Great grandchild. Her fiance Terry Umberger.  Her Sisters Barbra Joan Ulrich, Donna (Joe) Frederico. Her brother Leonard (Pete and Lois) Adams. One special brother-in-law Elmer Mottesheard and an enormous number of nieces, nephews, and friends that will forever miss her dearly. Including her friend and caregiver Darlene Jones.

 Memorial services will be held on June 24, 2023 at 2:00 at Mountain Brook Holiness Church 1035 Commerce St. in Pulaski.  Officiants will be Randell Jones and Dean Simpkins,
