Obituary
Michelle Katherine Hendrix Smail, age 52 of Dublin VA, died Tuesday, May 27, 2023 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born on October 2, 1970 in Indiana, and is the daughter of Karin Yolanda-Lorraine de Nijs and the late John Raymond Hendrix.
She is survived by two sons: Zachary Smail of Maryland: Austin of Dublin: and a daughter, Sherree Summer Wolfe of Pulaski:
Brothers; James Williams of Roseville, California, and Joshua Jensen of Dublin: And her Sister; Nicole Hendrix of Smithton, PA.
Also survived by two grandchildren; Dawson Smail, and Dillon Smail: and nieces and nephews Angilica Kelly, Kaitlyn Kelly, and Christian Kelly of CA. Michael Robert Powell a nephew predeceased her last May 22, 2022.
She was surrounded by her family at her death bed talking about the good memories they have of her. She was always helping and looking out for other people. She will be missed by many.
Per family tradition, she was cremated, and the family will have a private gathering on Michelle’s behalf.
