Laverne Kay Price

Laverne “Kay” Price, 67, of Pulaski, Virginia, was reunited with her heavenly father on Saturday, July 22, 2023, surrounded by her loving family at her home.  Kay was born on September 29, 1955, to the late William Eugene Burton and the late Vergie Hurst Burton.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Eugene Burton, mother's, Mary East Burton and Vergie Hurst Burton. Also, two sisters, Lorraine Wright, and Barbara O’Dell.

She is survived by her loving husband Rusty Price of Pulaski; her daughter, Sherry Lawson of Dublin, her son, Bradley Lawson (Carine) of Woodlawn; Five Grandchildren- Sierra Duncan, Kayla Burton, Anthony Harbin, Cayden Lawson, and Eva Lawson. Four brothers and two sisters: Danny Burton (Bobbie) of Shelby N.C., Larry Burton (Betsy) of Pulaski, Carolyn Davis (Tommy) of Pulaski, Caddell Burton (Yonna) of Dublin, Randy Burton (Teresa) of Christiansburg, and Donna East of Pulaski. Several nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Fairlawn Church of God with Pastor Marcus Harrison and Pastor Derick Burton officiating. Pallbearers will be Anthony Harbin, Cayden Lawson, Jamie Davis, Eric Davis, Chris Burton, Zeb Shrader.  Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Christiansburg. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Fairlawn Church of God.
