John Edward Stigger

John Robert Edward Stigger, age 52 has departed us on June 11, 2023.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Vonetta Elizabeth Webb, Father Jody Gambil, grandparents Malinda “Tootsie” Calloway, and Arvella and Oscar “Peanut” Smith, and brother Vidal Abraham Webb.  His survivors are two sons; Dylan Smith, Vidal Robert, Edward Stigger, daughter Jana “Justice” Waldron; Uncle James E. Calloway of College Park, Atlanta, GA and Lawrence Calloway, South Carolina.  Auntie Neva R. Smith-McCollum (Kenny R. McCollum); two sisters, Nicole Gambill Columbus, OH, and Ebony Finley Lewis, Dublin, VA:  special significant friend, Lolita Trussell, of Roanoke, VA; two loving cousins, Demetrious Rahi Rentas-Smith and Tobyas Jave Smith of Roanoke, VA, ana host of nephews and nieces, and cousins. 

John was a hard worker his entire life.  Disabled, after a horrid auto accident, he still offered helping hand to whomever.  He was a charismatic man with determination to master whatever tasks he came across.  He was an active, dedicated, and loving father to his children. 

Memorial service will be held Friday, July 7, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Seagle Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.  Online condolence may be sent to the family by visiting www.seaglefuneralhome.com  Arrangements by Seagle Funeral Home, Pulaski.  540-980-1700
