John Jerry Robertson

John Jerry Robertson, age 77 of Dublin, died Monday, February 8, 2021 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem.  He was born in Giles County in the town of Pembroke on November 16, 1943, and was the son of the late Lena Lake Lafon Robertson, and Francis Earl Robertson, Sr.  John was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Radford, and was a retired employee of Radford Army Ammunition Plant with 37 years of service. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter; Angela Lee Jarrell:  brothers; Horace N. Robertson and Joseph Robertson:  sister; Bonnie Jean Lafon. 

He is survived by his wife:  Nancy E. Robertson of Dublin:  two sons; John J. (Michelle) Robertson, Jr. of Fairlawn, and Leslie Aaron Robertson of Dublin:  two daughters; Katherine Robertson of Pearisburg, and Emily Stone of Dublin:  brother; Francis E. (Smokey) Robertson of Pembroke.  John is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and his loving dogs, Willie, Billy, and Izzy. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 900 Pendleton Street Radford, VA 24141, with Bishop Gary Samples officiating.  Interment will follow in Hickman Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Friday at the church from 12 Noon until 2:00 p.m.  Flowers will be appreciated, but for those who wish, they may make memorial contributions in his memory to any local Hunters for the Hungry organization.  Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.seaglefuneralhome.com  Arrangements by Seagle Funeral Home, Pulaski.
