Jeffrey Wayne Burchett

Jeffrey Wayne Burchett, 59, of Oswego, IL formerly of Pulaski, VA, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 11, 2021.  We know that he was praising and glorifying Jesus as he entered his eternal home.  

Jeff was a constant missionary always telling anyone he met about his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  He has spent the last 21 years serving the Lord wholeheartedly.  He was always concerned about the eternal life of others and shared the gospel message to countless people not only in the United States but in Africa, Greece, and Mexico.  Jeff was a true disciple of Jesus.  He unselfishly gave to anyone, opened his home to everyone, and deeply loved his wife and children.  

Jeff was preceded in death by one sister, Teresa Burchett and grandparents, Philip and Fairy Burchett and James Avril and Blanche Mabry.  

He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Michelle Burchett; children, Craig, Ryan (Odessa), and Ian Burchett; parents, Doug and Janet Burchett; brother, Shawn Burchett (Sonya); sister Ashley Snyder (Terry); brother-in-law Kenney Edwards (Pam); sister-in-law Sue Edwards; nephews Steven Edwards, Cody Edwards, and Noah Burchett; nieces Katy Edwards, Alexis Snyder, and Erin Burchett; and many other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2021, 3:00p.m, at River of Life Church, 5311 Black Hollow Road, Dublin, VA.  Interment will follow at Thornspring United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 to 3:00pm at the church.
