Helen Swain Obituary
Helen Elizabeth Swain, age 98 of Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Pulaski County, VA, died Sunday, March 14, 2021. She was born on October 23, 1922 in Montgomery County, VA and was the daughter of the late Virgie Sowers Swain and Roy McKinley Swain, Sr.
Helen retired from Martins Pharmacy in Pulaski, and held other service positions during her life in Pulaski, VA. She was a member of the Pulaski Presbyterian Church in America. Helen maintained an active lifestyle; enjoyed spending time with friends and family, reading her Bible, sewing and adoring her dog Tucker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Roy Swain, Jr., and sisters; Kathryn Eversole and Marie Anderson. She is survived by many beloved nieces and nephews and life-long friends.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Newbern Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
