Obituary

Betty Sue Brown Doyle, age 73 of Dublin, died Monday, June 5, 2023 at Carrington Place in Wytheville.  She was born on March 2, 1950, in Bluefield, West Virginia, and was the daughter of the late Lucille Helen Lewis Brown and the late Kelly Brown. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son; Scott Doyle:  brothers; Jim, and Roy:  sister; Luann Brown.

She is survived by two sons:  Mike Doyle of Richmond, and Paul Joseph (Michelle) Doyle of Christiansburg:  a daughter; Sherrie Renee Doyle of Asheville, NC:  a brother; Pete Brown of New Castle, and Jack and Donnie Brown:  a sister; Mary Gladys Brown of New Castle, and Barbara Brown.  Also survived by three grandchildren:  Aidan Doyle, Ian Doyle, and Layla Baker, along with many nieces and nephews.    

Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, June 9, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Christiansburg.  There will be no visiting at the funeral home. For many years, she became a very serious and avid fan of Vince Gill.
