Barbara (Bobbie Sue) Runions Stowers, age 55 of Pulaski, died Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Titusville, Florida on February 5, 1966 and was the daughter of the late Bessie Rosalie Spratt Runions, and Ronald Ray Runions. Bobbie Sue, was a Certified Nurses Assistant for many years in the home health services. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. Her love for people was accompanied by a big heart, and an even bigger smile.

She is survived by her husband, John Jeffery Stowers, Sr. of Pulaski: Son; John Jeffery Stowers, Jr.: daughter; Jennifer Paige Stowers: brother; Robert Runions and his wife Libby: sister; Lisa Wade and her husband Phil: Uncle; Roger Runions: grandson; Frankie: best friend; Melissa Nixxon: beloved pet; “Rue Rue”, and many other relatives and friends.
