Janet, I'm heartbroken for you. Ralph was the kindest, most gentle person I ever met. The world will be a little less happy without him. He was an outstanding neighbor on Barrett Ridge Road. My love and thoughts are with you.

Janet, so sorry to hear of Ralph's passing.  Remember the days of bringing in that big fertilizer truck to help keep your yard beautiful.  What pride you and Ralph had in keeping your place as a show place for all to enjoy. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

Janet, so sorry to hear of Ralph's passing. You two were some of the sweetest folks I ever knew growing up in Draper. One thing I will mention about Ralph that I still talk about to this day: first time I ever donated blood was while in high school, and after nearly passing out from that experience I wasn't sure I ever would again. Then one day I saw Ralph, and he had told me he was on his way to donate, and was about to start his 8th gallon. He told me to not let that one time scare me away, and I took it to heart. Every now and again we would run into each other while donating, and I was going to try my best to catch up with his "8 gallons." Sadly, I didn't make it due to health reasons, but whenever I'm encouraging others to donate blood I tell them of mine and Ralph's stories!
Please know you are in all of us Kanodes' prayers (Mom and Lynn included), and we miss you!
