Dearest Marion...so very sorry to learn of the passing if your lifelong, cherished
hubby and best friend.  He was truly a very special individual and such an important part of your life.   So sorry that these uncertain times makes it difficult for those of us who love and cherish your friendship to be there to give a reassuring hug.  Just know I love you dearly, always have and always will.  And I will save a nice warm hug for you for the very first time I get to see you. Please take good care of yourself and know that God is with you through this difficult time.  Prayers for God’s special blessings .  Love you my dear friend.

Marian:  I was so sorry to hear about Gary.  He indeed was a special person and a very dedicated teacher.  I always enjoyed going into his classroom because he and the students had fun together and were learning at the same time.  I know he will be remembered by many of them. I will always remember how you took such good care of him.  My prayers and thoughts are with you as I know you have lost your best friend and companion. Cordially,  El as one Woolwine

To the family, you don't know me but I knew Mr. Lockard as my Science teacher at Dublin Middle School.  It's hard to believe that's been over 25 years ago but I can remember him like it was yesterday.  He was such a great teacher and an even better friend.  He always encouraged me and inspired me to work hard.  I'll never forget his warm smile and contagious laugh.  I remember once he gave me his keys and asked me to go get something for him out of his truck after class.  He smiled and said, "I wouldn't trust just any kid with my keys."  My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.  Praise God for the HOPE we have in Christ.  Sincerely, Rev. Marcus Harrison

Marian,
I am so sorry to hear about Gary's passing. I've known him all my life because he and I have a mutual cousin, Donnie Smith. Donnie's mother was my Aunt Margaret, Jenny's sister. You also taught my geometry class at DHS. Sending prayers, love and hugs.

He was a great teacher. One of my favorites from middle school.  He made me like math which is a huge accomplishment.

I was Gary's pastor for five years at the Dublin Methodist Church; Gary was in high school at the time--a handsome young man, active in the youth group. I'm sorry to hear of his passing from this life to the next. May he rest in peace. Blessings to his family.
