Dr. Polson was my Cooperating Teacher at Pulaski Co. HS during the Fall Semester of 1989.   I observed him during the first day of school that fall for 1 day, began teaching 1 block class the 2nd day of school and had the entire schedule by the end of the first week of school for the rest of that semester.   He threw me into the fire and made me work hard; he was a great teacher and expected the best from me at all times.  I became a better ag. teacher because of him.   Much respect - he'll be missed!

To the Family of Karl Oscar Polson,

Karl and I shared the very same birthday, month, day and year.  I offer my condolences to the family that thank you for your support for him when he was teaching and during his retirement.  I personally know that Agricultural Teachers do not have a 9-5 workday and I am sure he was with his students as much as he was with the family.

I am truly sorry for your loss.

Larry D. Case, National FFA Advisor, 1984-2010

Mrs Polson and family.  My deepest sympathy goes out to you.  Mr. Polson was thought a great deal of in our home.  He always tried to have positive outlook on things in life.   My husband is now in a facility with stage six dementia and Parkinson.     May your memories give you comfort.  Prayers, hugs, and love.
