I would like to extend my sympathy to the Sutphin family. Although I have never met Mr. Sutphin I have heard many stories and if his son Steve is an example of the kind of man he was (and I think he is), then the world has lost a good man. May God bless him and welcome him home.

My deepest sympathy to your family.
My husband Rick Martin worked with Maynard at AT&T. Rick thought the world of Maynard. Maynard came when Rick passed away in 2001. The world has lost 2 great guys.

I am sorry for your loss. I am Dorothy Maxwell Lindsey's daughter. She was his first cousin on her mother's side. While I only remember the sister Mildred, I have often heard people speaking of Maynard. Mom is not physically able to attend. I send you our heartfelt condolences. I also knew Taz and Edith, she and my grandmother, Anna Bell Sirt Maxwell looked so much alike. They were good people. I knew Mildred and her children. You will be in my prayers.

My condolence to the whole Sutphin family. Maynard was one of my favorites. I had the pleasure of working with him at the AT&T plant during my summers home from college. A true gentleman.
