Heartfelt condolences to Dick, and all of Linda's loved ones. I have so many fond memories of my cousin, and am grateful for the last few years when we cousins got together annually for our "cousin Palooza." I will treasure the memories of sitting with Linda, cup of coffee in hand, and catching up on our lives.
I thank Dick, Luke, Carolyn, Dianne and all of you for the loving care you gave Linda throughout her illness. May God be with you in your grief and may you be blessed with beautiful memories.
Though distance will prevent me from being at the funeral, I will be there in heart and spirit.

Roy and family. So sorry to hear of Linda's passing. I went to school with her and was part of the graduating class of 1967. She tried to teach me how to roller skate but I was too clumsy. Linda was a special lady and will be missed. May Your sweet memories, the love of family and friends and God's amazing grace bring you comfort. Due to a prior commitment I won't be able to make the services but will be there in spirit. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Reba S.

Mr. Roy Dickerson and family, words can not explain the sorrow I feel for your loss. As a husband of a wonderful wife whom I love more than anything else in this world believe me when I say I understand your grief cuz I know what I would feel if I were to lose my life partner.. I am so sorry for your loss and I remember so well Linda's eternal optimism while facing this fight against cancer.. Remember her optimism and her concern for you more than herself... It speaks volumes of her love for you.. May God be with you during the days ahead and know she is looking down from a peaceful, and better place, wishing nothing but happiness for you... My wife and I will be there Tuesday...

So sorry to hear of Linda's passing. We were classmates and friends all through high school. I so enjoyed seeing and visiting with her at our 50th class reunion. She showed such strength and faith through her journey. I will not be at the service as I am currently being treated for breast cancer but will be there in thought and prayer.

As a cousin, I visited Linda and her 3 sisters many times during the summers. There wasn't much distance between our houses, so I was able to visit them more often than with my other cousins. I just enjoyed going there and missed it when our family moved to Salem. I give my love and thanks to Carolyn, Dianne, Luke, Roy and others for taking such good care of Linda during her illness. She tried so hard to beat the terrible disease, and we might say the cancer won, but not really because she is beginning her forever days in Heaven now. I think she was really the winner, but letting go is so hard for the rest of us. I'm thankful for the times Linda and I shared both as children and adults. She will forever be a part of the lives that she influenced over the years. I look forward to seeing her some day, and then she will have a healed body! Thank God for His promises to us.

My prayers go out to the family. Linda was my PE teacher and basketball coach.

She had a lot of students that “LOVED” her because she’d cared about us.

God has taken her pain away!!

Prayers are with the family

I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I have found comfort from this scripture, Philippians 4:13, " For all things I have the strength through the one who gives me power."
