I worked with Terry at AT & T. He could always make me laugh even on the worst of days. He and a neighbor used to come down to my apartment and play chess with my boyfriend while I went to the laundry mat. I hadn't seen Terry in years but I never forgot him. I always thought a lot of him. You all will be in my prayers.

The last time I saw Terry was at the high school reunion for all classes, and he was the same loving jokster he was in school. He will always be remembered by anyone who knew him. My prayers go to his family during this time of sadness and loss.

I was saddened to learn of Terry's passing and send condolences to his family. The news brought back many great memories of time spent with Terry in school, on the football field and outside of school as well. I regret that I lost track of Terry so many years ago. He was a good friend and is missed.

The very first thing that came to mind at the news of Terry's passing was I remembered his smile. Then as I thought I remembered everything about Terry and all of it was wonderful, as he was wonderful. My heart is very saddened but also touched with great joy that I knew such a great , sweet wonderful person. Please know God has a very special place for him, all my love to the family Emmett David Umberger

I just learned of Terry's passing. I was one of his best friends at PHS. Terry started at center and I played guard beside him. He was the best center we had at PHS. What a great teammate he was! We stayed in touch after high school but over the years we lost touch. Terry and I would switch positions on punts. I remember the Blacksburg game I snapped the ball over the punter's head. The next week at school everyone assumed Terry had snapped the ball over the punter's head. Terry just laughed it off and never even told anyone. What a great friend he was. I am deeply saddened by his passing. We were all part of the brotherhood of the PHS football team. I think we will always be part of that brotherhood. My condolences.
