James Edward Webb, age 89 of Pulaski, died Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Pulaski Health and Rehabilitation Center.  Jim was born in Pulaski on October 9, 1928, and was the son of the late Lula Ogle Webb and Bennie Oscar Webb.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  Jim retired after 30 years with IBM in Roanoke, and was called back to work much later. The best words to describe him would be “Sincere Gentleman.” His passions in life were many, but he loved flying, skydiving, bowling and playing cards.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred (Millie) Quesenberry Webb; five brothers, and four sisters.  He is survived by his daughter; Angela Webb of Grand Prairie, TX; sisters in law; Naomi Whitaker, and Pauline Lyons, brother-in-law Rex Quesenberry, and a multitude of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 p.m. at Seagle Funeral Home on Sunday, March 18, 2018.  An informal celebration of his life will be held at Compadres on Route 99 Pulaski, beginning Sunday at 5:00 p.m.  A burial will be held in private at Oakwood Cemetery.

I was sorry to read about the loss of James your love one. May you find comfort in the words of Jesus in (John 5:28, 29) "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life"

Angela, I am so sorry to hear about Jim's passing. I worked with him at IBM for almost all those 30 years. He and Mildred visited with us a few times also. He taught me a lot in that time and I will miss seeing him at lunches and so forth.
