Our deepest sympathies and condolences to the Hurst Family. Richard was known to the Fisher family as a great family man! Our Mom (Betty Fisher) was a long time friend to Richard. Our prayers are with you all in the coming days. Our Mom always talked so fondly of Richard (and Betty, classmate and best friend of our Mom) over the many years and especially of Richard in our Mom's last days before her passing in August.

Sincerely,

Ron and Letha Fisher

Mr. Hurst was a true sweetheart and precious friend to our Mom, Betty Baker. His love for his wife was truly amazing the way he talked about her and his special memories. It was an honor for me to get to know him and his beautiful love and values. We respect and honor him as a veteran, man, but also as truly one from "the Greatest Generation".
It was a wonderful thing to watch him and our Mother visit and discuss the past. To demonstrate true friendships that last a lifetime. He will leave a hole in many hearts with his beautiful smile, pleasant disposition, and always a gentleman. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
